About the model
Seedream 4 is ByteDance’s next-generation model, combining text-to-image generation and precise editing in a single architecture. It’s a versatile all-rounder: the same engine builds a frame from scratch and carefully edits a finished one.
Our service offers both modes — text-to-image and image-to-image. The model works with sets of reference images: upload up to 10 files in one request to lock in a style, a composition, or a specific character. That’s especially useful for sequential frames — storyboards, say, or a series of product cards.
The speed is impressive: under 1.8 seconds per 2K frame. On top of that you get up to 4K resolution, pinpoint editing of objects and backgrounds, and batch generation — up to 6 variants per request.
